as soon as i connect to the internet,new .tmp and .exe files are created on their own in C:\documents and settings\administrator\local settings\temp and C:\windows\temp. they try n set new processes to run which slow down my pc n eventually it hangs...
i wanna knw how are these files created in the first place??
i m usin both avast n Zone Alarm.
also,can sites like orkut.com n IM clients like googletalk.exe be malware source???

Once you have done that can you clear out your cache folder again ie: Run
CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/)
(Note in CCleaner: go to >options > advanced > Uncheck "Only delete files in Windows Temp folders older than 48 hours").
Now can you scan for Spy/Malware there are a number of programs that you can use for free Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php) is one of them that i recommend after running the program you can post the logfile here.
