:(
Review all the info I can find on this, tried all the fixes I could locate on this. Even tried in safe mode and boot scans and removals. Can't find the culprit(s) anywhere and I'm still getting those annoying pop-ups. WIN2K OS, have tried HJT, XoftSpy421_142, VundoFix, and manually looked through the registry. Avast Antivirus and AdAware don't pick it up either.
I either need psychiatric help or just plain help.
Brian
I'm also concerned about this HJT entrie that I can NOT remove: O2 - BHO: ATLDistrib Object - {2353FCBC-012D-487B-8BF3-865C0929FBEB} - F:\WINNT\system32\jkkll.dll
:exorcize:
BrianO,
I would suggest that you use killbox to get rid of that but I think that there is probably something in the registry that is preventing this from being eliminated.
Would you please post your HJT logfile in the
HijackThis Logs forum (http://www.landzdown.com/index.php?board=26.0).
Call it something like "my HijackThis log" in the Topic Title
and then put "referred by Eric the Red" as the Topic Description
Also Please can you include a link to this post for reference
You'll need to use Atri's VundoFix on this one ...
Please do as ETR has suggested and post a HJT log for review.
 Gonna hold off for a day or so. I ran Spybot and killed a few things and am waiting for another pop-up. VundoFix and Killbox were also tried without success, but will see if all is okay before going after jkkll.dll.
Thanks for the replies,
I'll get back,
Brian :D
Hello and Greetings Again BrianO!
Ole' EASTER here. Just some useful advice for you. Don't hold off or wait too awful long on that HJT Log.
After all these years and all this time the internet still floats some pretty mean crud in the form of many new viruses and spikeware LoL
Had something drop right in my lap recently myself, C:/ folder that is, had it not been for KERIO firewall alerting me to an OUTGOING TRANSMISSION request from a loader.exe i
would no doubt still be fishing out all the extra bugs they can unleash on you. All it takes is one OUTGOING to make a successfull INCOMING, and you got more than a single issue on your hands plus plenty of additional time and effort spent cleaning up after them.

When you ran VundoFix, did you enter this at the second prompt?
F:\WINDOWS\system32\llkkj.*There is also likely to be an O20 item with that .dll that you will have to "fix" with HJT.
If you need complete instructions on running this tool, holler ... :D
This topic is resolved. See HJT forum post http://www.landzdown.com/index.php?topic=4512.0 (http://www.landzdown.com/index.php?topic=4512.0)
 Thanks for the help everyone.
Brian

Go forth and surf in peace.
