Yesterday morning, I was using my laptop when the black screen happened. I was able to log on, but it happened again and has been happening throughout today. I tried a number of recommendations, but still no success. The last time I restarted my computer, I had the laptop screen all the way until it completed loading my start up programs.
I did uninstall the update for silver light as that was installed yesterdy morning before all of my problems started.
Any suggestions?
Hi, Barb.
Please give us some information about your laptop: How old is it, what is the operating system. Have you had any other problems with it recently?
Although it sounds more like hardware rather than a software issue, it wouldn't hurt to see a log.
