I would like to know how to remove a block I put on the new version of Secunia PSI via WinPatrol. I got a WinPatrol alert that an automatic service had been installed and offered the option to let it run or block it. I blocked it at the time, but since decided it is probably a good idea to let it do it's thing. (which is to automatically monitor for needed patches and updates and make an alert) How do I reverse that decision in WinPatrol?

I can't seem to find a place to allow it. And the history panel is empty.
XP:
Type services.msc at the command prompt or Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
Change Startup Type via right-clicking it and chosing Properties
Yay. Thanks. :)
I was thinking I would have to uncheck something within WinPatrol.
Winpatrol is now showing that service as running on automatic. All is well.

Among other programs, the September 27, 2010 update to CCleaner v2.36.1233 added support for Malwarebytes AntiMalware, Avast! Antivirus and
WinPatrol. The listing is under Applications > Utilities and, as I recall, was pre-checked. If you use CCleaner, running it with that option removed the WinPatrol History information.
Thanks for that information Corinne. And of course, I dutifully updated CC Cleaner back then when that came out, but apparently didn't realize all that came pre-checked.
Yes...that's what cleaned it out. I don't think I want any of that stuff removed. *immediately unchecks those boxes*
