:sos:
I read this on DNSB site:
http://www [.] dnsb[.] info/ - remove[]to go to the link
WARNING : It is a NAZI Page !!!
1:
That avast warn people to visit the page.
(Well - that´s sort of OK - Because it is Nazi organisation in Denmark - Small and without influence -
Thanks to that! - But it is legal, and I think it is OK, as we have democracy and freedom of speech in Denmark)
2: It tell that avast in pre-installed on many new computers !
In the article. Look for yourself - there is a picture.
Unfortunate it is in Danish language !
Well - I do remember avast warned the first time - But I ignored it, and now there is no warning.
WOT do also warn by a RED circle !
IS there danger for malware/spyware ?
YES - It is junk/foolish/danger hate speech !!!!!!
Greetings from tjunk in Copenhagen, Denmark
But is there any danger to the computer
- Beside the brain ;-)
Greetings From Jørn Rudolph in Copenhagen, Denmark
There should not be any censorship on that site. But maybe there is some bad files there. But anyway why are you entering that site  :( :Win73: .
If I was able to hack a site I would have hacked that site long time ago! :soapboax: . Nazism is not welcome.
:hammy:
Hey Stealthzone
I agree with you - so-called (by themselves) "Super-human" are not welcome!
Why I was looking? - Well, I like to see for myself what "strange" things there are on the Internet.
Not because I am a fan or a supporter, just so "learn". Besides that I have my own opening, who are much different to that site, I just told about !
Hi Jørn,
It's very ok that you are exploring the internet and all that, but sometimes it's better to stay away from that kind of strange sites, as they might contain bad files and other things that may disturb your computer. As far as I know, the site you are talking about, has been hacked and closed down several times because most people really don't like that kind of extreme sites. I believe in free speech and all that, but in this case this topic might be disturbing to a lot of people around the globe. Please don't waste your time repairing your computer just because of a fuzzywuzzy site ;). I guess you are able to enter other sites and I'm sure that Avast are just doing it's work proberly. Avast also sometimes kick me off the net if I try to enter a suspicious site.
Greetings from Stealthzone in Esbjerg
:hallo: Stealthzone in Esbjerg ...
How nice - a Dane ! A fellow countryman.
Well I see what you mean - I was not thinking :stupid: !
Yes it could easy be some hackers ... OF CAUSE !
Do not get me wrong. I have absolutely no intention of advertising for the follows in Greve.
Please forgive me. I had no intentions of making a political debate on a security forum !!!!
My main question was also is new computers come with Avast ! installed - What I newer heard of, before !
And if there was anything "danger" for the PC. -
So all here in the Landzdown Forum - I was an "elephant in a glass house", as we say in Danish.
Hi, Jørn Rudolph.
Computer sellers get paid by vendors to pre-install their software, generally a trial version. The idea is that people will use the trial, like it and purchase a license.
I like the expression, "elephant in a glass house"! Please don't be concerned. I'm glad Stealthzone was able to explain why Avast blocked the site.
Hi JR :Hammys pint:
You are already forgiven long time ago. I was not thinking you supported the DNSB people and related. DNSB and realated groups just makes alot of people sick, angry and sad, including me. Avast did its job proberly and I have just been around the site and as expected my avast popped up with a warning in red. Here is how the warning looks like:

Instead of looking at the DNSB and related sites it's recommended watching a good movie in case of boredom. I can recommend the British movie : "The Boat That Rocked" . It's a good one to watch ;) :breakkie: :hammy:
go to the microsoft-mvp site and install their "hosts" file.
if keeps you out of many sites that are known to attempt to load malware on your pc.
read about it here, and likewise download it here too ---> http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/hosts.htm
in my opinion, that hosts file is extremely important - in this order
- hardware firewall (resists random attacks)
- microsoft patches / service packs (fixes bad / vulnerable code)
- hosts file (passive, used initially when visiting a site)
- anti-virus software (active, and for scans)
- anti-malware software (passive, for scans)
- anti-change software - billp's winpatrol (scotty) (active)
ps
welcome, Jørn!
:mitch:
Thank you ! Also to Corrine and Temmu, and good Sunday to you all
:goodie:
Hi Jørn,
The webshield in Avast version 6.0.1000 also blocks access to known malicious wesites, which also means websites contains stuff that may be disturbing . It is a new thing in the latest version of Avast. :
