I want the words "Version 3.1" to be clickable and take me to the correct web page... :wub:

To do it manually, without the spaces after & before the brackets:  [ url=paste URL ]Type URL Name[ /url ] = CryptoPrevent Version 3.1 (http://www.foolishit.com/vb6-projects/cryptoprevent/)



I use the Firefox add-on Copy Link Text (CoLT) (http://www.borngeek.com/firefox/colt/) which provides the ability to right-click on a page and select the option to copy the link text and URL as BBCode.  I use the copy as HTML link for my blog posts.  Other times, I'll just copy the URL.  It depends on the situation.

When I paste the BBCode in a post, I often edit the title to suit my purposes.  For example, the first two examples below are without editing the title, the second two as I would edit for posting.

You're welcome.  I've been using it for a very long time and really like it.  Between my blog and forums, I use it a lot.
