Hmmm you may be right it does not seem to be working at this moment in time. but at least you now know how to use the others
and if you wanted you can also change the colour of the text so instead of RED you could have say BLUE as the colour for the Glow IE: From this --> Glow to --> Glow (the way I find is best to do this is to alter the text [ glow=red,2,300]Glow[/glow] to the colour you want.

where you put your cursor over the bbc in bold to see something.  He does that further down with my name, when you put your cursor over the word brat in bold.

there are a veritiy of codes to play with and the acronym  is just one of them but remember that if you use one you must close it by using the / as in /acronym (https://www.landzdown.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fsmilies.sofrayt.com%2Ffsc%2Fgentleman.gif&hash=6c1090d9e743a45850d1ab96b5ae1394649c9d02)

most of the time when I want to bold I type that in myself just out of habit instead of clicking the code button.
