LandzDown Forum

On July 11, 2005, the doors to LandzDown Forum were officially opened to the public.  We've made many friends over the years.  LzD has been a home to many, some visiting from the very beginning, others more recent but still returning regularly to share information, to give or to receive help. 

As we continue on our journey, to each and everyone who have been a part of LzD, whether from the beginning or a new member . . .

I count myself very lucky when I found LandzDown forum. Its been great to find new friends and to have the opportunity to help others in a relaxed atmosphere. Long may it last and happy anniversary    :blowout:  :Hammys pint:

2005 ... it was a bit like Gilligan's Island when our old "home" suddenly collapsed around us.  As Yoda said "That place ... is strong with the dark side of the Force. A domain of evil it is."

Fortunately, the last person out turned off the lights, and brought the flag, and we set up shop here.  Yoda again ... ""Brought you here, the galaxy has. Your path, clearly, this is."

Now, the armies of the light are united against the forces of the dark, and the combined firepower is too much for the nasties.  Their attacks have changed, and our tools have modified and evolved to defeat them.

This is a friendly place, with folks from all over the globe, and we take great pains to make sure that all feel welcome, regardless of their level of experience or expertise.  There are a lot of internet help forums to choose from, and we are pleased that folks have found us, returned to us, recommended us to their friends ...

It's been a quick 9 years, and I suspect the next 9 will go just as quickly.  We've lost some good friends and family members along the way, but we've also gained some new ones.

As Dorothy might have said upon returning to Kansas from Oz ...

As a member of this forum, Ι feel gratitude for all the help you have given me so far. Today, there are very few people who are willing to offer their help, without seeking reward. I'm really glad, as through this forum I met some of them. Special thanks to you, Corrine. I wish there was some way to reciprocate something from what I got from you. For now, I can only say a huge THANK YOU!

P.S. I wish this forum continue its great work, for many years to come! You see, I have too much more to ask!!!!

You have reciprocated many times over, Panos.  You have shared what you learned with your friends and family.  You sought safe sites for your sister's children to play online games.  When you were looking for a safe video converter, you asked for help plus did further investigation on your own.  Just the other day you solved a problem a LzD member was having with the computer desktop image.  Oh, yes, Panos, you and MikeW and Basil and LilBambi and so many, many others have indeed reciprocated.
