We've heard about the fake Microsoft "tech support" calls for a long time. There have been rogue applications imitating known security programs. Now the scammers are moving to a different level with brand security software fake warnings. They modify the real installer to add their own code with the message the software cannot be installed and a toll-free number to call "support" -- which is a tech support company located in India.
