I've been a "lurker" for a while, but it took me a while to find a "Capcha", I could decipher, and a username that wasn't taken.
BTW: There may be a minor bug in the signup process.
The first time I tried to join, I did not use a "!" in my username, it accepted my submission, but I never got the confirmation email.
Turns out, the username was already in use. The original "Pete" may have got the email.
