Rebooting your DNS is not a bad thing once you've refreshed your Hosts file.
A word of caution that running SpywareBlaster renders the IE Restricted Zone to non-default settings. Screen cap will illustrate.
Reset to defaults after every run.
And the usual reminder for those that use SpywareBlaster as a Hosts back-up to re-set your IE Restricted Zone to defaults as shown in prior screen captures in this thread.
Updated see: MVPS HOSTS File Update January 24-2015 (http://mvpshostsnews.blogspot.ca/2015/01/mvps-hosts-file-update-january-24-2015.html)
As I'm aware many of my US Friends here and on Facebook use Newegg. Some are reporting issues with new purchases from the site.
Do one of the following:
Temporarily disable Hosts (http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hostsfaq.htm#Rename) in order to avoid the bug | issue in order to avert site issues. Ensure your reverse this once (leaving) Newegg !
Add a permanent exception (http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hostsfaq.htm#Editor) for the (one) website if the issue persists.
Do not add lines to your Hosts file as it may break it !!
Please use the contact information at the Hosts Home page (http://winhelp2002.mvps.org/hosts.htm) for comments or feedback.
Thanks for reading.
