Yes, you read that correctly. Malwarebytes now has a program specifically for Mac users! Thomas Reed, the former owner of "The Safe Mac" and creator of the anti-adware program "AdwareMedic" has joined the Malwarebytes team as Director of Mac Offerings at Malwarebytes, of course bringing his program and expertise with him.

Thanks, Corrine. This is the first time I've ever downloaded an app not yet approved by the Apple App Store. Although MBAM has always worked well on my Windows 7 machine, I hope my MacBook Pro doesn't suddenly catch fire or blow up. :wink: Don't know if I actually need it, or not, yet I'll give it a spin.

I've been using MBAM on my Android tablet and it hasn't caught fire yet so I think you'll be okay. :goodie:

Well, please allow me to be the first to comment that MBAM for Mac works very smoothly, and FAST! I clicked "Scan", and it finished scanning in approximately 3.5 seconds (MacBook Pro Retina - loaded).

Best thing? My Mac didn't catch fire. Who'd a thunk? :wink:
