A week ago my old desktop Vista HD finally failed... :thud:.. (I have got all doc/pictures on external HD).
Three days ago I got a new laptop with Windows 8.1 Pro
I have spent the past three days getting used to 8.1, but today I got "tempted".. :moreevil: and via the windows updates, carried out the free upgrade to Windows10!!!
From beginning to end, upgrading took 1 hour 30 min... :wub:
Everything has gone great and my laptop now has Windows 10... :thumbsup:
First impressions: I must say I like it. I think I prefer it to 8.1...At least it has a proper "start" menu!... :lol:
Reservations: The issue of, apparently, non existent privacy, concerns me. I have, however come across this article which I will read carefully and, may be, apply its recommendations.

Now I start on a new (steep??) learning curve, trying to familiarize myself with the new program, which seems to be quite different to previous versions of windows!

I want to download MBAM and Win Patrol. I have licenses for both of them.
Does anybody know if they are compatible with Windows 10?
At the moment, I only have ESSET NOD32 A/V installed!
