Title: Windows 10 automatic updates is blowing through data caps
Post by: ky331 on August 17, 2015, 06:38:49 PM
A woman traveling around New Zealand came home to find a bill from her wireless service provider totaling nearly $400 for the month of August, but she hadn’t used her service very much while traveling. The culprit, as it turned out, was Windows 10 automatically downloading updates in the background while the user was tethered to wireless data.

I believe it.

I've gotten two update packages AFTER the monthly update Tuesday ones.

C'mon Microsoft...get it together and combine  your tweaks.  Updates that require a restart every couple of days is ridiculous.

Would defering feature updates slow this down at all?
