It looks like one of my email accounts is going pay.
I use Thunderbird and Imap for email and that Free mail account will no long support it.
I could not even find a way, to the online email.
So I changed my email, to this site, to a Gmail account.
We may have to pay for email if this trend continues.
Not fun having to change email address everywhere. :(
I don't even know all the sites and people I gave this email to,
maybe if I could get to it on online >:(
Lost,
Which email service is it?
v_v
I have been using the imap gmx.com
it is 1&1 Mail & Media Inc
I use gmx strictly online.
Here's where i start https://www.gmx.com/
Part of the problem was a Browser incompatibly.
It still does not take my email and password.
But I no longer see anything about a premium account.
Imap still is working.

I was able to get in the email account all my emails were gone.
So have no idea which site I use this email with.
Had to reset my password.
Well C'est la vie
It was a Mail.com email account.
Some how I was get my mail through imap gmx (same company)
Well it"s gone
I never used mail.com
I remember reading lots of posts with problems so I steered clear of them.
Can't you open an account at gmx?
I have looked in that. their login page is a carbon copy of Mail.com
http://www.mail.com/mail/
http://www.gmx.com/mail/
Same Company
I need email accounts with POP3 or IMAP access.
Try to see is they would forward the email to my Gmail account, But that is a pay feature.
There was some saved emails and have update one site.
I am not going to pay for a Company that lost my emails
Well maybe gmx took over mail.com.
I have yet to "lose" an email at gmx.
I see there is no IMAP support
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GMX_Mail
Actually, in addition to webmail, GMX has both IMAP, and POP support.
https://help.gmx.com/en/applications/imap.html#servers
https://help.gmx.com/en/applications/pop3.html#servers
Since United Internet, (parent company to 1&1) took over mail.com, it wouldn't surprise me if they eventually combine the mail services with GMX.... but that's just speculation.
I made an gmx account. Still looks like it has Imap for now.
Am going to try and use the Collect feature to get the email from the mail.com account.
May not work but will be fun trying.
But sadly paid looks like the tend. :(

Glad the collect feature solved the problem without going paid.
