Howdy,

For one reason or another I have lost the ability to utilize the BBCode icons while posting on this forum.

Any ideas?

Got it! It isn't you. It is Microsoft Edge.

Using the BBCode manually as shown in the code box below works: Windows 10, Microsoft Edge but clicking the B/I/U etc. buttons doesn't do anything.

Personally, I'm not fond of Microsoft Edge. Then again, I'm not fond of IE either since I have come to depend on certain add-ons that I use with the Pale Moon browser.

Are you using any browser add-ons, or other security software, or have any settings, that would limit scripting?

I can't duplicate your symptoms, but with the "noscript" add-on for Firefox, I lose some of the functions of the forum, unless I specifically "Allow landzdown.com"....

then everything works

EDIT
Corrine's right, the buttons don't work if I use "Edge".

Hi Corrine and Pete,

@Corrine: I just finished doing a response to you using some of the bbcode manually and being 73 years old caught up to me. I accidently deleted my response but I did as you said and it worked for me but as you can see it must have taken me forever ...lol

Edge isn't what I would call a favorite of mine either because I have used IE since I ventured into cyber space eons ago with Win 95. But I will keep plugging away.

My wife uses Firefox to play her games and all I know about that is basically keeping it secure and updated.

I have never heard of 'Pale Moon' (using bbcode manually) so I am going to check that out.

@Pete: I don't think I have any other Security programs that limit scripting. When I post at other forums (i.e., Windows 10 Forum) I can utilize their bbcode successfully.

I appreciate both of your responses.
