There's an ongoing fire in New Mexico, called the Dog Head Fire. It is in the northern Manzano Mountains and was estimated at just under 18,000 acres this morning and only 9 percent contained. They are huge fires, indeed... What a disaster!
The ''difference'' is that Cyprus is only 9000 square Km, with 750 000 population... The country is in real danger... 20 firefighting planes from France, Italy, England, Israel, Greece and Cyprus are trying to control the fire, but till now the result is the same...
