Yesterday I was offered a "new" patch on one of the four Win 7 computers. When looking at the info, it said it came out Thursday 11 Aug 2016.
The patch is for .NET 4.5.2 and is KB3135996.
I clicked the more information link. It came out in March 2016 and from my history, it was installed then. It was re-released in May but I was not offered this patch.
The only info I can find in the past week on the patch seem to be in Chinese or Japanese sites. I didn't go to any of them.
Has anyone else been offered this patch?
I'm not installing it until I can find more up to date information on an English language site.
This may help

Well it is as clear as mud.
QuoteCustomers who have already successfully installed the update do not need to take any action.
I successfully installed this update in March and my update history shows this.
Hopefully, it will go away on its own. I'll wait to see what happens rather than trying to install it a 2nd time.
