Is it normal if my C free space is increasing? OK, I ran the clean disk utility last week, but only some MB were deleted. During a week I have 10GB extra free space. Not at once. Day by day.
(Windows 10, v.1803)
Since you indicated the additional space was "day by day" rather than all at once, it doesn't sound as though it was due to version update. But, just in case, was your computer updated to v.1803 since running the clean disk utility or was the update before that? If the update occurred after you ran the clean disk utility, keep in mind that the version update clear out all System Restore points.
Under "Storage sense", did you add anything in "Change how we free up space automatically" section? Or, did you may any changes in "More storage settings"?
Do you have CCleaner or a similar tool installed that runs at scheduled intervals?
Thanks, Corrine.
The update was completed two-three weeks before the disk cleaning. I made no changes anywhere, and there are no cleaners in my computer. I hope that nothing important is being deleted.
I don't think you have anything to worry about ;)
I think Windows 10 now removes the Windows 10 old backup folder automatically after your rollback period has ended. It used to be 30 days to rollback to the previous version, but it was changed to 10 days. That would be about the size of the old file around 10GB.

Thank you, winchester and techie. I have no intention to make a backup right now. Not even to break it. :)
But what it concerned me was that every day the amount of the free space was going up, 2, 3... gb. (It was 694 I think, and now is 705gb). No increasing today.
OUPS! I just noticed where I posted this. It should be in Computers questions and solutions. I'm sorry. :-[
Moved :)
OK! Today the free disk space is 703gb, so it started going down. And the Windows.old folder is 0gb, so I guess the increasing of the free space was due to the old Windows folder removal. Thanks again. :)
