Title: Adobe Flash Player October 2018
Post by: winchester73 on October 09, 2018, 06:24:07 PM
Adobe Flash Player Version 31.0.0.122 has been released.

This update does not include any security fixes for Adobe Flash Player, it just address feature and performance bugs.  (This is a first?)

If downloading/installing manually, be sure to uncheck any unwanted add-ons!

This is just an exe and requires no deselection of unwanted programs. Consider it the slim install.

For IE on Windows 7 (8.1 and 10 get this through Windows updates)

I noticed that Youtube does not have any more Flash Player as its default player. It replaced it with HTML5. Videos play even when the Flash Player plugin is disabled. Is it something new or I didn't notice it before?

Yes, I knew that one day this should happen. Some time ago (in summer I think, although I'm not completely sure) Youtube still had Flash Player as its default video player. I just didn't notice that the day came.
