Now you'll all know why I wasn't around last week to post about Patch Tuesday security updates: A Windows Insider MVP Visit to Microsoft Headquarters! (https://securitygarden.blogspot.com/2018/10/a-windows-insider-mvp-visit-to.html).
Wow! Congratulations!!! Yes it was "a dream come true, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity," and of course I am glad that you accepted and took advantage of it. And double yes, I have more than "a small idea about how much this experience meant to" you! (Smile)
You certainly deserved that opportunity and experience and I am hoping for many more to come your way!
We did miss you but now you are back, refreshed, and inspirited!
May the "Mystical Rose" continue to prosper!!!

Thank you, v_v. That means a lot to me. FL may be dead but our friendship lives on.
Although I don't understand much, I do understand that your visit made you very happy, and I know what an once in a life opportunity means for everyone. So... you have my warmest congratulations.
Thank you, Ria. It truly was a "once in a life opportunity".
Corrine,
Glad you enjoyed your visit.
It is hard to workout why you only been invited twice

Could not agree more. :)
Sorry for the confusion. All MVPs are invited to Microsoft to attend the annual MVP Summit so, yes, I've been invited to the Summits since 2006. However, there was only one year when I was in a personal position to attend and had started making arrangements. Unfortunately, there was a schedule change on a major project at work and I had no choice but to cancel my plans. This was an entirely different situation and unrelated to being an MVP. After the winners of the "Insiders2Campus" contest were declared, I received a separate invitation from the Windows Insider Team.

Sorry for misunderstanding.
OK, then all these years Microsoft should find many other special opportunities, unrelated to being an MVP, to invite you. :D
(I hope I didn't misunderstand again!)
No, you didn't, Panos.
Congrats Corrine ! :-)
Regards,
Tim
Thanks, Tim! It was fantastic.
