The day was good and the best part was we didn't get another deluge of rain.
Sunday we just put away the fans after drying out the basement from last week's rain. We are getting a new furnace and air conditioner. The workmen will be here Wed., Thur. Fri. so we didn't want a wet basement.
Last year held a 150 year old record as the wettest year. So far this year, we've had 11" more rain than last year. It has been 2 years of drying out the basement. Thank goodness we only get a tiny amount.
One home owner said he had 9" of rain in his basement and just cleaned that out when last week's deluge came along.
