Title: RIP Your Highness
Post by: Corrine on September 09, 2022, 02:08:36 AM
The world is grieving for Queen Elizabeth.  She was certainly a lovely lady and respected throughout the world, with tributes by world leasders. In Washington, the flag was lowered to half-staff at the United Kingdom's Embassy. U.S. flags were also lowered at the U.S. Capitol and the White House.

Thank you Corrine.

Yes she has been a great queen and will sorely missed.

Very sad that she was let down by some of her family

70 years, 15 Prime Ministers. What a woman. I have always admired her work ethic, Family values, and kindness. All the while, still being the Queen.

She has earned her rest.

"When Elizabeth ascended the throne, the UK's prime minister was Winston Churchill, who was born in 1874. The prime minister at the time of her death, Liz Truss, was born 101 years later, in 1975."

She most certainly has, Rob.
