I am attempting to learn how to use WIN 10 Pictures and I did something wrong and I don't want to make it worse.
Reduced a pictures size like I have accomplished a few times before but this time I locked all of my pictures in Paint.
The steps I took:
Double click on picture that I wanted to reduce.
Right click Open with.
Click Paint
Click OK
Click Resize
Enter 40
Click File
Save As
Added an A to the end of the pictures name.
Click Save.
X- out pf Paint and double click on the reduced picture and resize it is still in paint. All of the Pictures section is stuck in Paint and I don't know how to put it back like it was.
Tried turning off computer but the Pictures section still has a Paint tool bar on top and all of the pictures open in paint when double clicked.
Ouch.
I'm not a user of Paint but hoping this from Microsoft Answers will work:
QuoteClick on Start > Settings > System > Default Apps.
Select Photo Viewer and then the default Would be Photos
Thank you Corrine now i can double click on a picture and not be in paint.
Tomorrow I will try and find out how I made a 90 degree drill extension as my desktop background.
Don't know how but I was able to get the Background settings back to normal.
Guess i need to set up restore.
I'm glad your problem was solved.
