I don't use the Google Chrome browser but found this article: How to Make Google Chrome Open in Full Screen Mode (https://www.groovypost.com/howto/make-google-chrome-open-full-screen/).

Although it is old, if the above doesn't work, perhaps this thread at Google Chrome Help (https://support.google.com/chrome/thread/10439385/chrome-only-opens-on-taskbar-not-on-desktop-screen-this-is-has-never-happened-how-can-i-fix-it?hl=en) will solve the problem.

I think it's the second solution, Corrine. It sounds like the preview thumbnail.

I used the zoom and full page, and in settings made sure always use display 1
and deleted chrome and downloaded it and rebooted,all is working good now.
Not sure which one did the honors

Whichever did the trick, I'm glad it is working properly now.
