It sure is!!! 51 This time, even after 2 holes-in-one!
Much better after a few beers

Ah-ha! So that's the trick. I don't have any beer in the house! That last hole killed me. I had 4 holes-in-one (and I'm terrible at these games). Hit the last hole & the darn ball kept rolling back to the other side. I'm not even gonna admit to how many shots it took to finally get the blasted hole finished.
I am goona bet it was in 12

WOW! That's a great score.
...................and it is a really FUN challenge that changes every time you play. :gwave:
*Well looks like I am the 'Champ' of LanszDown so far
hehehe
Been a while since I last played that....lets see if I can beat the highscore. 8)
After getting familiar with the game again and a few training-rounds, I now present you with the new highscore:
Personally, I found hole 13 to be more of an issue than hole 18 (started over twice because of it)......the latter is mainly a matter of figuring it out.
Well, on my very first round I got par - I thought "this is easy peasy" then I got the first 5 holes in 1 in the next game! ... but it all went downhill from there - I ended up with 51 on my second game :(
But then I had a good run and scored 18 but I couldn't figure how to post the "score sheet" so you will have to take my word 8) 8) 8)
 (And, shortly after that, a pig flew past my window which proves "pigs can fly" ....................)
So; - so far, Heru is officially the leader of the tournament.

*whispering* Go Heru! :gah:
Congratulations, cannymum - that is impressive indeed.
I'll be back, of course.
I am making mental notes on each of the holes, aiming to complete a game with only the best individual scores I have managed to obtain for each hole.
While making good progress on some others, I totally messed up hole 8, so my re-obtaining the title will have to wait until after I fixed myself something to eat. 8)

WOW!!!
:uhm: I am SO impressed with your performances Cannymum and Herumutsu !!!
This little game is VERY addictive!!! Now can you tell me why I CAN do all those holes in one but never in the same game??? :( I always seem to mess up one in a way you would'nt believe with probably a record HIGH !!! My best is 44 to date... but you inspire me not to give up at least on beating my own score... eheh!
You could make a screenshot right before the strike......that way, you have something for planning future strikes on that field.
I.e. if you hit the ball too far to the left, you can mark the spot on the screenshot where you plan to try the next strike, or even draw a line the ball is supposed to roll along. After getting it right a few times, and getting a good grip on the in-game physics, it'll come naturally. It's more of a starting-help than anything, but it might work for a while.
Best of luck! :)
Herumutsu, Holy Sheat!
Nice Work/Play
:gwave:
I'm currently trying to reproduce it.
Once I have succeeded at that, I will attempt to get the perfect score. 8)

I wonder what results that grand-daughter would provide if she constantly didn't have to fall into the mine-like holes made by her turf-eating granny.
Well Goatie! If she gets to good don't forget the possibility to stumble over some cables by mistake, or serving her some snacks while touching the circuit-breaker followed by "Oooh Dear, what kind of bad virus could that have been!" :moreevil:

2. Cannymum -- 25
3. Hayc59 -- 27
4. Easter -- 32
5. Goatie -- 35 (we'll take you at your word, but next time, need PROOF! :) )
Anyone who can beat the scores above, copy/paste the stats and edit the list as appropriate. (I need another week's vacation so I have time to practice just to get my score below 50.)
Edit note: Beautiful trophy, Goatie. Heru definitely deserves it!

JASON... I'm the one that needs allies here!!! ...she knows granny's turf all too well by now! So I ended up with a fight in my hands!!! :twak: But their Dad just happened to pass by and I sent them both home for punishment!!!

4. Easter -- 32
OK, This one is OFFICIAL. And i am quite proud of it seeing how those notorious funny little triangle courses always ruin my chances for a good outcome.

Couldn't agree with you more about the 17th Goatie.
I've only tried the game out around a dozen times, but I've also got a couple of irreparable so-called "out of bounds" on the 17th hole.
It happened when I tried to press my shot to the max in some wishful thinking that I'd manage to get around those corners, but instead it seemed like I was going 'round the entire Globe.
When I then tried to hit the ball from the new position it looked like that poor ball was trembling with cold (it only vibrated but didn't move).
I've reached 35 and that's not much to brag about in this skilful company, but at least I'm happy o be the recordholder in real life miniature golf at my favorite course in the community.
Hole 14 is a sure Killer to a good game :soapboax:
I got 8 & 12 down to a science (hole-in-one) by winding up and let her fly on a stretched straight-line course.
13 is a royal pain in the beehind, i hate that propeller thingy. Gets me every time.

I really could not have improved my performance without her guidance and valuable coaching encouragements. That's made the difference so far and all credit goes to my Dear Mentor,
Goatie. What would i do without you? This :tease: and this :soapboax: and also this :uhm: and she most definitely saved me from this :tech:
Now back to work on that front 9 some more, gotta get those numbers down in the single figures.

:Yahoo:
Got some kind of peculiar feeling in the back of my head that I've been hooked up by a goat, but I'm not a complaining kind of guy.
A bit more serious: It's always nice when people spread some positive energy around and every so often they get some back. :D
Nice metaphorical image Goatie!
Pls someone send me those magnets so i can do one too. :|
Poor EASTER ! That was a real bummer, I admit!!! I should never have sent you that magnet you asked!!!

...looks like you got all your EGGS in the same basket, eh?... :(
:Yahoo: I FOR ONE LOVE THIS GAME! :Yahoo:
I can't get enough of it now, find myself playing just for the FUN of it on a regular basis all the time. Gotta love those sound effects, especially that #2 green
I give anything if they had more courses just exactly like this one only different layout, those others are OK, but they don't come near AFAIK to being as well done as this one.
Thanks again Felburg
PS: Yea Hey Goatie, that 17th green is still giving me :tease:

You're welcome!!!
I do LOVE IT TOO! ESPECIALLY THIS MORNING!!! ...and believe me, I earned it with patience, sweat, almost tears but no blood! I'd have to be a mountain goat to tame #4 and #17 but I'm a plain ordinary one... (BUT maybe in another life I'll get promoted! )

What a great way to start my week!!! And watch out little grand-daughter, you got work to do to beat your grand'ma when you get here in a couple hours!!! :-DDD (we were nose to nose with a 28 when she left on friday...)

3. and 4. are at the point where it's time to switch places.
BTW, Congrats, Goatie! :)

Ahh!! The INSTRUCTOR (especially this one) is never to be outdone: What? Would we expect anything less?
FANATASTIC!! CONGRATULATIONS ON ANOTHER STELLAR PERFORMANCE!........................Now lets see about singling that Monstrous 17th green for once. :breakkie:
Well, it started out nicely this morning and is ending up beautifully tonight with this:
This definitely was my PUTTY DAY!!!
Some day..... I will retire too.... but never before I get the magic number!!! :Yahoo:
EASTER... the only way to handle the 4th and 17th (for me...) is playing it in the weirdest wild manner you could ever imagine... by aiming in the opposite direction completely! I feel totally silly when I do it too! Well, I took lessons from Tiger over the week-end!!! :-DDD
Really great results Goatie!
Now you're ready for the LPGA-tour and some battles with our fellow-swede Annica Sorenstam... :Yahoo:
Wow, another amazing score - the practice is paying off! :D
Well done Goatie....(In fact, more than well done...a stellar effort) :gwave:
........looks like I need to try harder I shall take up the challenge again in a cuppla days :breakkie: :breakkie: :tease:
JASON... good hint... I'm going to hide behind his cart and watch his tricks from real close... Sorenstam, eh?... yep, will do! Does he speak "goat" if I need to ask a few questions??? All I know in swede is "Blue Suede Shoes" !!!! :tease:
HERUMUTSU... the more I practice, the more I admire your performance! Are you a real golfer in real life or a real magician in a cruel world???
CANNYMUM... OK, I consider this as a warning, eheh! Keep drinkin' your coffee... while I double my efforts!!! (geeeez! I'm getting nervous here now.... ) :moreevil:
GOATIE... You're a true Mini-Putt Pro but I don't expect of you to know all about golf. Annica Sorenstam is a lady with a golfbag (baglady  ) and of course she speaks goat in a perfect manner like all Swedes.
If you've ever heard about Kermit the frog and all the other characters in an old series of programs called The Muppet Show, then you'll probably also heard about the Swedish Chef. When he throws his swedish meatballs in the air babbling what foreigners believe to be swedish, that's actually ancient goat dialect.
Nice work Goatie!!
:gwave:
:gwave:
:gwave:
JASON... eheh! so you know about my character "Little Miss Goatie" in the Muppet Show, eh? ( :secret: yeah! she's the Sweedish Chef's girl friend... unofficial but true!!! ...don't tell anyone!) Kermit is my little brother!
HAYC... Thanks! I'll go back to practice as soon as grand-kids go back to school and friends quit gettin' in trouble with their puter! I can't afford a baglady, and to busy and tired to walk the walk this week!!! :)
