No; I had not used the latest version.  My attempt was almost a year ago.  I'll be testing the new version to see if it will work out.

At first blush, the installation (using default parameters) of v3.7.1 did not create a start menu folder or a desktop shortcut icon.

I'll go back to download v3.7.2 to see how that works.

Karen's was the best.  I'm still using Replicator on Windows 7, but discovered problems with it under Windows 10.  Here's hoping there's an update for that.

Specifically, I found the replication to be incomplete - missing files after completion of the operation.  It is not clear that problems, with "Windows 10 uses a modern manifest system for which Replicator hasn't yet been specifically prepared", have been addressed.

As I happen to be installing mail clients on a new Windows 10 system (my first ... I know I'm a luddite), I though I'd tack on a few comments, some of which will make some of you wince, so go ahead and do that.

All of my email accounts are set up as POP3. I never leave email on the server (or anything else in the cloud if I can help it.)  My life does not constrain me to access a single email account from several devices or locations.  On the other hand, a single device of mine may aggregate email from many accounts.

My security software includes Norton Security (with firewall), Malwarebytes (manual), WinPatrol, and MailWasher.

I have a bunch of email addresses for various dedicated reasons.  While I could define a bunch of profiles/identities/accounts in one email client, I find it to be more effective, less confusing, and an efficient method of separating functions, to use several email clients (not all at once.)

My order of choice is:
  • MS-Outlook
  • eM Client
  • Thunderbird
  • OE Classic
  • Mailbird
  • MS-Mail

Some are paid; some are free with gratuity; some are free ... pretty much depends on how much I use them as to how much I shell out.

I use more than one system--Outlook is not loaded on all of them.  Thunderbird is my client of choice on Ubuntu.

I use a calendar/appointment app, but it is stand-alone.  I don't need one that is incorporated in an email client.  Check out BORG.

Mailwasher, by firetrust, is the best thing since bucky balls and blue lasers.  I paid for a lifetime license.  There is a free version.  Anybody, who has more than one email account, should at least read about it.

"Results problematic" is a phrase that sounds to me like the kind of thing the weatherman would say as he is the person who invented the phrase, "warm of air" as in "This warm of air is something we are just going to have to deal with."

Yes, Thank You ky331! This has generated more email than you could imagine. ;)

Perhaps this explains some things for me.  I had assumed that an update of WinPatrol would scavenge old files that would no longer be used.  I have some systems to look at.  :embarrassed:
