LandzDown Lounge / Hello from a friend
« on: January 05, 2022, 04:02:25 PM »
Hello Beautiful People here at this Forum.
I would like to say hi and wish you a very happy and blessed new year. We have all been through many difficulties the previous one. I wish to leave everything behind and make a new start.
I also had a lot of changes in my life, move to another country, left people I love behind. But every time I am back I feel my self again. I know I say things that you can’t understand unless you passed from the same path. And you are somehow a part of my self, my life. I would like to tell you that I’m here, still a member of this site.
My warmest wishes,

The video is beautiful and it does motivate. The thing is when you have difficulties to find the courage to remember all these and react brave. Unfortunately Robin Williams didn’t make it for the one reason or the other. I hope you, me, everyone can make it when the time comes. That could be a live and true example not just a beautiful video.

My best wishes to a wonderful friend I never met but already means so much to me and to my family. I could say for a hundred reasons but I won’t. Because actually there is only one reason concerning the fact she is a very special person with a great heart.
Happy birthday dear friend and many blessings in your life. 🌹💐

I’m watching this thread for a long time now. The stories are really heart warming and inspiring. I read some of them many times. I was thinking that most of the time we are searching about such stories somewhere else and forget that everyone of us, in our families, in our environment we have at least an example of someone who has such a story to tell.
Today I would like to share with you a story from my family, specifically my younger brother. He had a very bad accident exactly  two years ago, he was 28, that left him with a limited mobility and many other serious health problems. He is very vulnerable in infections, next month he has another surgery and at least twice he reached too close to death last year (this is just a two words description). You can understand that our lives changed since then as we are all trying to accept the new reality. Especially for him this is not easy, he is young and he has every right to complain and be desperate.
Well he is not. Yesterday I was with him and my daughter asked how he feels these days. My daughter had some difficulties at school this year and talking with her uncle makes her good.
His answer:
“I’m trying to transform the difficulties into an opportunity. That is how you should see it too. If any difficulty can make me a better person then I’m a winner. Don’t let difficulties get over you, keep on. Find one or two people to hold on them and always be a winner not a looser. “

My thoughts: if all were thinking like that, the world would be much better. I’m proud of my brother.

Thank you!
It’s so nice having friends from all over the world!

This Easter is so different.
I’m thinking of you too, hoping for better days!

Things are difficult.
Especially when you have persons in the family who belong in the high risk groups. It’s a risk to be sick.
We have lock down since 24th of March.
We hope and pray for better days, having in mind that we are all part of the solution.

The Catholic Easter is on Sunday, so I wish everyone celebrating it Happy Easter, even in this difficult situation.

Take care, stay safe!

I’m sorry I am entering in this conversation like that but I feel the need to write something too.
I don’t know Mrs Corrine so many years as you. Actually I had only the opportunity to talk with her by email for a bit more than a year and under strange and difficult circumstances. I can confirm the above words about her. I’m grateful to her about her sincere concern about my family. Even now, we are going through a very difficult situation she is here, asking and praying for us. I wish I could say more.
Thank you and God bless you always, you and your family, dear friend.

Happy birthday from me too.

Many many wishes for now and always!

And I have a question for the experts here: how do I copy  an image location to add it in a post like this, using an iPad? I tried but no success. I hope you understand Panos.  :)
