Probably his pick for database user. You usually manipulate the database using a set database user.

That makes sense.

In the meantime, it wouldn't hurt if you have contact information for other SNF Linux users to let them know that you're "meeting" here while Scot's is down.  Even if they don't wish to register, they'll be able to see as guests any distro updates that are posted.

Since Scot's is still down, we've decided to open the Linux forums here (at least for the time being).  Note that none of us know what the future holds for Scot's Newsletter forums since Scot just made the announcement of it being available yesterday.

I got the same error when I refreshed the page.  As you'll see, I sent Scot an email with a screen copy, cc'ing the both of you.

SNF (as we refer to it) was founded March 8, 2003 and I registered on October 20, 2003.  I don't recall now I heard about it -- most likely having run across the actual newsletter that Scot published or, perhaps, a reference in a Computerworld article.

Microsoft released KB5007235, the monthly ā€œCā€ release preview cumulative update with non-security improvements and fixes for Windows 10 Versions 21H1, 20H2, and 2004.

IMPORTANT:  Windows 10, version 2004 will reach end of servicing on December 14, 2021. To continue receiving security and quality updates, it is strongly recommended that you update to the latest version of Windows 10.

Note:  Due to the holidays, there will not be a "C" release preview in December.

Microsoft now combines the latest servicing stack update (SSU) for your operating system with the latest LCU. For general information about SSUs, see Servicing stack updates and Servicing Stack Updates (SSU): Frequently Asked Questions.  For information about the types of updates released by Microsoft each month see Windows 10 update servicing cadence primer.

Update: To get the update, go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update. The link to download and install the update can be found in the Optional updates available area. To get the standalone package for this update, go to the Microsoft Update Catalog website.

"The best workaround available at the time of writing this is to wait Microsoft to release a security patch, due to the complexity of this vulnerability," explained Naceri.

Plus, practice safe computing.  Due to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, I have the feeling we won't see an "Out of Band" update and may have to wait until December 14th (the next "Patch Tuesday").

Yes, securitybreach is another long-time friend from SNF.  I have the feeling that Eric gave him the needed nudge to join us here.   :)

Please join me in welcoming a long-time friend and one of the Admins at Scot's Newsletter Forum (SNF).  I met Eric at SNF 18 years ago.

If you have Linux questions, Eric is the one to ask.
