You can manually update MBAM by downloading the definition file and extracting it to the MBAM folder at C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.ref (default path

Click on this link:

http://data.mbamupdates.com/tools/mbam-rules.exe

Open (double click) the downloaded file. You will get a UAC prompt which you should allow and the file will open an install window, follow the prompts. Once complete run MBAM.

Hi dustpol, welcome to the forum.

Before we go any further would you check your root repeal log.

There is a function of the post software on this board that limits the length of posts and it looks like the root repeal log has been cut off in mid flow. Would you locate the last line shown in your post...

Quote
#: 144   Function Name: NtQueryDefaultUILanguage
Status: Not hooked

#: 145   Function Name: NtQu

and copy and paste the remainder of the log into another reply here (start the post with line 145)

Thanks

It truly is a miraculous day - one of the limited number of days when the curious U.S. date notation is understandable by the rest of the world  :breakkie:

I'm not going to be around much in the next couple of weeks so I would be grateful if someone else would set the next challenge.  :Hammys pint:

Could it be the statue of the Big Merino at Goulburn, New South Wales? I havn't seen it myself but an Aussie mate in the pub suggested that it may be the right answer.
