Windows Insider Preview Build 19042.508 (20H2) Released to Beta Channel:  Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 19042.508 (20H2) | Windows Insider Blog.

This security update includes the following quality improvements:
  • We fixed an issue with a possible elevation of privilege in windowmanagement.dll.
  • We fixed a security vulnerability issue with user proxies and HTTP-based intranet servers. After installing this update, HTTP-based intranet servers cannot leverage a user proxy by default to detect updates. Scans using these servers will fail if the clients do not have a configured system proxy. If you must leverage a user proxy, you must configure the behavior using the Windows Update policy “Allow user proxy to be used as a fallback if detection using system proxy fails.” This change does not affect customers who secure their Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) servers with the Transport Layer Security (TLS) or Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols. For more information, see Ensuring clients stay secure, changes to scans against Windows Server Update Service (WSUS) servers.
  • Security updates to Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Microsoft Graphics Component, Windows Input and Composition, Windows Media, Windows Shell, Windows Cloud Infrastructure, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Management, Windows Kernel, Windows Virtualization, Windows Storage and Filesystems, and the Microsoft JET Database Engine.

That's great!  I just updated the thread at Sysnative.

Pale Moon has been updated to version 28.13.0. The update is a compatibility, bugfix and security update.  Linux versions will follow shortly.

Note: Included in the updates are DiD* patches.

*DiD stands for "Defense-in-Depth" and is a fix that does not apply to an actively exploitable vulnerability in Pale Moon but prevents future vulnerabilities caused by the same code when surrounding code changes, exposing the problem.

Release Notes

Security Advisory ADV200002:
This advisory will be updated whenever Microsoft releases a version of Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) which incorporates publicly disclosed security updates from the Chromium project. Microsoft will document separately any vulnerabilities in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based), that are not in Chromium, under a Microsoft-assigned CVE number (see, for example: CVE-2020-1341).

To check for Microsoft Edge security updates, click the three dots located in the upper right-hand corner, select Settings > About Microsoft Edge or merely put edge://settings/help in the address bar.  When going to that page, Edge will automatically check for any updates.

First things first -- when making a change such as a driver update, create a System Restore point.

Second, if you discover after updating a driver it can easily be rolled back to the previous driver.  See How to Roll Back a Driver in Windows.

Third, a quick search regarding scanning with the Xerox WorkCentre 3215, a quick search brought up that there was an issue with scanning after a Windows 10 Version upgrade.  A patch was made available and is located on page 3 of the thread at Cannot Scan with Xerox WorkCentre 3215 - Customer Support Forum.  That said, most likely the recent driver update includes that patch.
