Hello everybody,

I have been referred here by my fellow members over at avast! forums in hopes to get rid of this rather annoying trojan. I had posted a thread there [http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=16146.0] in hopes of finally solving this problem, but have had no luck thus far. So far, I've scheduled many boot time and windows scans via avast!, have scanned with adaware many times [full system scans and a ADS scan in both normal and safe mode], scanned with Ewido security suite [in safe mode], and have tried scanning my computer with SpyBot Search and Destroy. My definitions for all of these programs are up to date and the only program that has brought any luck is avast! It detects the virus upon booting into windows, but it can't repair or remove it. As a result, I get a warning message from avast! about every 10 or so minutes saying that I am infected with the "Win32:Trojan-gen. {Other}" trojan. 99% of the time, the file that's infected is the "svcroot" dll file in the system32 directory [system root].

Here's the link to the HiJackThis log:

Any help on solving this problem would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you!
