Hi everyone

I have a question i had installed on the computer Microsoft Net Framework versions 1.1 also version 2.0 and version 3.0

To cut a long story short i uninstalled them, but at a later date i want to reinstall versions 1.1 and version2.0 only.
But i noticed in my Windows Folder i have a folder called Microsoft Net and in this folder there are leftovers from Net Framework, would this cause a problem reinstalling. :help:

I am using Windows XP Home Edition with SP@ and all updates.

There have been some problems experienced with NET Framework after recent updates, in particular, KB928365.

There is the NET Framework Cleanup Tool:

Perhaps right to the point is something that came up in the Newsgroups: microsoft.public.windowsupdate:

Go to the windows update page. Unchecked the updates and expand the tree (click on + sign). Choose to hide these updates.

Pete I'm not sure of the answer, but found this  maybe it will help explain about Net Framework.
