For starters, when I go to the website to upload the file, I keep getting "The page cannot be found" error when I clikc the submit button although when I tried other files, those files did work. It seems the CGFO.DLL file does not work on the scanner

Is there anything I should fix based on this new log? I am still having the same problem though and the message sporadically appears

Seems that the file causing the problems (cgfo.dll) didn't remove properly.

Could you please download this attached file (remove.vbs), don't run it yet.

Boot into safe mode (if you don't know how to do this, there is instructions at the bottom of this post). Once in safe mode, run the file you downloaded earlier from here (remove.vbs). Once it's done, it'll tell you it's removed the reg key and file and to reboot. Please do this, reboot into normal Windows mode.

Once back into "normal" Windows, post a new fresh HijackThis logfile.

Could you please go here and upload the file, we might get a clue what kind of infection it is and we can apply the proper cure:

Click the button "browse" and navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32\cgfo.dll , then hit "submit".
The file will be scanned by all virus-scanners in the list which will take a while, then copy the result of the scan into your next reply.

Well, how are things? Looks like the registry key still didn't go but the file did get deleted.

Well to be honest, my system is still pretty sluggish. Any other suggestions? I've been keeping up with Antivirus and Spyware scanners but the system is slow from time to time. The original red message I got is gone though

Any idea on how much RAM your computer has? Also have you tried a ScanDisk and Defrag? Thse can speed up your computer significantly.
