Very interesting as well as disturbing results if they are indeed accurate.

You will recognize all the products that they are reporting on.

Anyone care to review and comment?  Thanks.

a bit dated, but most is true

but when you figure there is no official def of spyware that allows some slack !

and do i care if it is called a virus or spyware? pretty fine line on most of the crap ?

i doubt if anyone can show me a 100% perfection in any ani-crapware product

and ( this hurts me to say this) in aaw's defence

the $ version had a good crap blocker (adwatch) and he didn't say that
and spybot has t-timer

but if you look at what he is saying ( my interpitation)
none of it is 100% so if you run a few you are doing better  ;-D

i have XP set pretty tight and run a few anti-programs manual ofte,n and have good backups so i feel pretty safe

and now
<rant on> the one thing that no one ever mentions if you have good backup you can get out of trouble <rant off>

so i think there is a lot more to the picture than a quick eval of a few programs, and at the cost of them (free) i can put up with some bugs, just like in "open source"
