Winpatrol Plus keep saying update

I have the latest version of Winpatrol Plus,( v28.1.2013) but its still reporting that there is a update available, this started after the latest version. I have been using the program for years with no problem. It is working perfect, thanks for any reply.

Have you tried the WinPatrol Maintenance and Reset Tools that was added with v28.0.2013?  It is accessible from the "Reset" link on the Plus tab.  I suggest giving that a try, using the "Remove any previous WinPatrol installs" option, illustrated in my blog post at WinPatrol v28.0.2013 Released.

Thanks, I just tried the instructions at your blog and it didn't change things, I think I just might just export  the setting and reinstalled. I'll report the outcome. Thanks again :D

Didn't have to uninstall, just downloaded and install version and it worked now its says "News from BillP Studios" thanks again

It is strange that you were getting the notice now, since it was in the release of v27.0.2013 that Bill added the long-requested feature of new version update notifications to WinPatrol and you had the current version.  :blink:  I would have thought if there was a problem with that feature, you would have received that notification with the next release, not now. 

I'm glad its all sorted though.  Thanks for letting me know.
