I recently bought cordless telephones that have as a station base my wifi router-modem. The modem is in the room I spend most of my hours every day. Also, I have a cordless telephone in the bedroom. I was told that I made my house a bomb! Is this true? How all these have impact in human health? I would appreciate every answer on this.

Cordless phones have been around for a long time.  There is less radiation with a cordless phone than with a cell phone.  If you are concerned, move the cordless telephone that is in the bedroom so you can reach it but it isn't sitting right next to your head.

Here's a few references I located:

Federal Communications Commission (U.S.):  Wireless Devices and Health Concerns
Wikipedia:  Wireless electronic devices and health
World Health Organization:  Electromagnetic fields (EMF) , also WHO | Electromagnetic fields and public health: mobile phones

We have a cordless phone with answering machine in the tv room aside of my husband's recliner. There is another cordless phone on his night table in the bedroom. His health hasn't been impacted from sitting or reclining next to these two phones for years.

Let me also mention that he got a pacemaker 6 1/2 years ago because of a slow heart rate. He just had the unit replaced at the end of January because the inbuilt battery was nearing its end of life. So he probably sees doctors more than the general population. He is quite healthy. I'm sure if something was having an effect, it would have turned up in the last 6 1/2 years with all the tests.

Pete!

A WWII Navy vet once told me how on cold days, he and his shipmates would stand near the radar antenna to keep warm.
In effect, they were cooking themselves with microwaves.

I don't know if any of his shipmates suffered any ill effects, but he lasted well into his 90s.

Thank you, all.

And what about wifi? Its impact is the same as cordless phones'? Can we sit in a room with a wifi modem next to us?

I've been doing this for almost 11 years.

I think if there were a problem with all the millions of people using wifi modems all over the globe, something would have shown up during the last decade.
