Hi!

There's some people who have problems with downloading the latest Java version as of 24/9.

the error message is:
Access Denied
You don't have permission to access "http://sdlc-esd-stage.oracle.com/ESD6/JSCDL/jdk/8u101-b13/JavaSetup8u101.exe?" on this server.

You can download java from this site instead of the usual download site:

Java SE Runtime Environment 8u101

Hopefully it will be fixed before the next scheduled update, 18 October 2016, although I wish fewer people would use Java as most don't have a need for it these days.

Thanks for the link frands.
Someone at another forum was having a problem downloading so I shall post the link. The person posting needs Java so I didn't want to waste my breath telling him/her to simply forget about it and scrape it off the computer.

You are very welcome! Well, there is another flaming problem, which is that it is not possible to verify the java installation at the main site  :( Anyway, the installation will work. I'm not very satisfied with that, so my advise is that it is better not to install java. As Corrine wrote earlier- Java is not needed that much anymore. Especially not with Windows 10. So stay calm, and drink a nice cup of black coffee or somthing, until Java gets over its flu...

That's not good either!

I don't have it on any of the computers, thankfully, or that would be something else to worry about.
