Good morning all.

I managed to get some virus to my comp, it disables antivirus program and firewall program.
I use Avast and Kerio and have trusted them for years. Now some bad managed to get my machine and as I said, disables those programs.
I've tried reinstall and Kerio installe but Avast didn't. I also tried another antivirus program with no luck either.
I created anther account to my comp and it even disables some other elements like all malware programs and regcleaners.

I'm stuck and that's why I'm asking your help.

I am using XP PRO SP2

here's my hijackthislog

Good Morning Higge  :breakkie:

I went over to the Avast website to find you a link for the Avast Uninstaller Utility and noticed you have asked for and are receiving help there:

http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=31285.0

As it appears you have been able to get Avast re-installed it won't be necessary to use this program. If in the future, you have problems with re-installing Avast, I recommend downloading the Avast Uninstaller Utility (aswClear) from here, follow the instructions, and then try a re-install.

I would have "panicked" a little too if my anti-virus and firewall became "disabled" at the same time.  But it is duplication of efforts for 2 forums to be helping on the same issue.

Good luck with getting control back of your computer.

Corrine

Thank you, Ripley.

Hi, higge.

I have just spent considerable time researching your posted logfile

Please follow Essexboy's instructions.  One of the things he will have you do is update SunJava as you have a vulnerable version of SunJava on your computer.  When he so advises, you can find illustrated instructions at my blog:  http://securitygarden.blogspot.com/2006/09/sunflowers-and-sunjava-update.html

Also higge, is there a reason you haven't up-dated to IE 7 ..
