Security Flaw in Adobe PDF Software

Internet users are being urged by security experts to upgrade their Adobe PDF reader,
to make sure that they have Adobe Reader 8


The  waning  is that a plug-in in the application could let hackers see and edit the files / folders on the person's hard drive this includes users of FireFox browsers and all users of all versions of Internet Explorer previous to IE7 are at risk.

There has been another update due to security issues with PDF files.  Time to update yet again.

Watch out for the pre-checked install of Photoshop Album Starter Edition!  Although it isn't as bad as a toolbar, you don't likely want a starter package foisted on your computer (probably with limited features).

Unlike earlier reports, this issue is now known to affect practically the entire population of Adobe users who aren't running version 8.1.2.

But my advise is to update Adobe URGENTLY. Or get the FoxIt reader. This is a serious issue.
