Wow, that "friend of a friend" has interesting visitors to their window...first a mountain lion & now the deer.
It is odd that the wildlife venture up on to the porch.  The person must be leaving food out?

Regardless, it is a wonderful capture of a curious young buck, just wondering who that cat is behind the glass   And with the snow on it's face/head, and another poking it's head in there...amazing photography! 
The younger doe & buck in my backyard walk right up to my cats as well.

BUT, the crow & that cat!?   Quite unusual as they remark in the video.  Not unheard of though if you think about the timing & mechanism of imprinting at a young age.  Seems to me there was a documentary or some such TV program that illustrated young geese "imprinting" with an ultralight aircraft.  Don't remember the details.

It just dawned on me, is this mountain lion here walking around the same area James just moved to?  NB?

Where those pics were taken is in the countryside outside of the capital of New Brunswick, Fredericton.
James is not that far away from there, maybe 200 Kms to the north east.

The mountain lion is a very rare site, but James should be able to see lots of deer his way + bears and other critters.
I guess it's like everywhere else, the cutting down of the forest is bringing humans and animals closer to contact.

aaaaaah, that's darling!

NOT that shoveling is any one's fave thing, but some things just have to get done!...shoveling snow ends up adding some exercise in an otherwise easy-to-get-sedentary vintertime.  But NOT today!  It's going to be like 15F below w/ 37F below wind chills!

I love it!  So far in the feline wardrobe is a yellow slicker, a multi-colored visor, many (tailored to fit) bandanas, and a sweater. 
I wonder how a cat would do with a little feline metallica  :tease:
