Hi,

My windows 7 has been running too slow. Not always but many many times click to open something and it gets stuck. I have to wait 30 seconds or so.   I don't think the problem is a virus or malware. I have Kaspersky and have done some malware scans.

I have a feeling that it is do to not enough disk space or RAM. Can anyone help me to figure it out?  I can't really afford a new PC at this time.

I hope these snapshots help with something.

Thanks,

Moses

Hi, Moses.

With 2 GB RAM and 202 GB space available, you have more than sufficient disk space and, although additional RAM would help, it shouldn't be causing the recent slowness.  Even though Kaspersky hasn't found anything, keep in mind that not all products detect the same files.  I'd be happy to review logs if you would like.  If so, please follow the Log Posting Instructions.

Looking at your processes, in img 3. Why does it show Kaspersky and Comodo both running? Are you running two antivirus programs?

Moses

He Techie,

No, comodo I downloaded for it's software as a "backup" program for my external backup disk.

I opened a new post and sent the logs to :  analysis and malware removal.

Thanks!!!

I saw that it was Comodo backup in the logs.
