What happens with Landzdown Forum?

Hi,

I understand that there's some server maintenance going on, but I have had a lot of troubles with access to the forum via Google several times. On what time of the day is the maintenance going on?

I'm not sure what you mean about Google - do you mean their web browser?

The server move (and all related work) is over.  The current (and hopefully last) item on the To Do list is to figure out what makes the box enter a bad state every few days.  I was hoping the move would address that but it's not how it went.  I have a couple ideas yet on what the source could be, and I'm also prepped to install some additional things to try and capture what might be leading up to whatever's causing this.

Yes, I mean their web browser and Bing also. I am just wondering because I usual don't have problems but over the last past 2 weeks I have had the problem usual at 9.00 (morning New York time) and then half an hour later or so, I can get access to the forum again. The problem is periodic. I can get access to all other sites but not Landzdown forum  :cry: :cry:

Hi Aaron, I'm having the same problems between 8.30 to 11AM UK time. Using IE8 the link to the forum times out, after that I am unable to open any sites without shutting down IE8 and then restarting again

Hi :)
Everything works fine again here. Have entered Landzdown ok at different time over the last past few days. Don't know what happened. Probably one of them things that is not easy to explain when working with computers :o

Try and clean your browserdata in IE8 if you not already have done it. Sometime it helps. Another thing is that some servers might be very busy sometimes. Check out some sites that you know and see if they work ok. e.g Youtube maybe there is timeout there as well at same time.
