:D  Perhaps I am dense, but I could NOT determine by looking at the names of the various forums
as to which one should be used to post an Ad-Aware Logfile, seeking assistance in removing
the "bad" guys !? I have been in communication with someone I have met playing Fantasy
Baseball and he sent me his logfile, which showed 2 "serious" spyware. Not knowing which
specific forum he should post in here, I sent him to castlecops' "Lavasoft Ad-Aware" forum .

Hi, SpiritWind.

That would be :

"Anti-Spyware Software
Post spyware problems and A-S software questions here!"

Hi, SpiritWind.  If it is PeteF, Rawe got to him before me and has now suggested a HJT log.  I suggest pointing him to the HJT forum here as there is generally up to a 2-week wait at CCSP for HJT log review.

 :D    Corrine :

Based on what I see on PeteF's logfile, it is NOT my Fantasy Baseball friend. However, in looking over Petef's thread,
I noticed on his SECOND logfile "BookedSpace", which was NOT on his 1st posted logfile; how come that appeared
        1 day later ? I ask because BookedSpace ( 4 references ) is 1 of the 2 "serious" spywares on my friend's Ad-Aware
scan, along with 1 reference of "ClearSearch"; how difficult will it be to rid these off his Win2000 computer ?

We don't know where PeteF has been surfing, clicking on since he posted his first logfile.  If we cannot remove with Ad-Aware, there is no problem as we have the best HJT Analysts available here for help.
