mbam screen is disappearing

I'm trying to follow some of the directions I have read in the posts about virus removal (I have several), but everytime I get to the direction about downloading and running MBAM, the MBAM screen disappears after only a few seconds.  Can anyone help me, or is my computer toast?  Thanks!

If so, what have you done since you last reported "Nothing weird has happened"?

NO.  I have 2 computers.  One (I believe) you all have helped me to clean up and is functioning normally ("nothing weird has happened"), although no one has commented on my logs from that computer.   
I then sent a post out about my other computer and the MBAM screen disappearing.  I'm hoping now that I have one clean computer I can fix the other.   Thanks for the reply!

I saw your post after merging your post from another person's thread but have been tied up the past few days.  I'll check in a bit to see where things stand on t he first computer.  For the second computer -- the one that you are still hoping to fix -- start a new topic in the Analysis and Malware Removal forum and provide the logs requested in Log Posting Instructions.
