When that TrojanJS: Redirector*E was found by MSE it flashed a warning in the corner of my computer by the MSE icon (tool bar).  Warning was up for about one second...I almost missed the quarantine message.

Seems that area around the MSE icon every once and awhile will flash a message that disappears before I can read it even if I happen to be looking directly at the screen at the time.  It's like trying to read the fine print during those commercial ads...and I once took a speed reading course.

Can't find any place where I can tell it to make the notice stay put until I actively choose to close it?  Any ideas?

Taskbar, not Toolbar.  My bad.

I tried going into Control Panel> All Control Panel Items and looked up Notification Area Icons.  MSE is set to show icons and notifications, but can't find anything on how to adjust the settings on those notifications so that they stop playing peek-a-boo like a groundhog and let me get a chance to look them over.

No, there isn't a setting for how long a warning notification is displayed.  Check History > All detected items and see if anything shows there.

History still reports the original infection from this morning that it quarantined.  My beef with the program is that the notice of a quarantine having taken place at all only flashed on my desktop screen for a literal second.  If I'd blinked, looked away, or wasn't in the room....would have missed it and still not known I had an attempted attack since I rarely ever go into Control Panel  that way....usually just to check for Window Updates.

Guess I'll have to make checking MSE History part of my daily checkup routine no matter what.  :(
