Need advice on easy way to do documents/images file backups

Yes - after it takes the initial backup it'll take new/changed info in subsequent backups. It'll also take periodic full backups automatically here and there assuming you back up to a hard drive or network location (useful so you don't get months down the road and then need to restore one full backup and a billion incremental ones). When setting up the backup schedule, keep the system image option enabled (for example, keep the checkbox checked next to "Include a system image of the drives: ..."). This is what you need if the hard disk ever busts and you buy a new one to replace it. In other words, you're taking two types of backups. The first is a file backup where you can pick and choose what you want (pictures, music, videos, documents, all of that, none of that...). Use this backup method to recover accidentally deleted files and such. The second is a complete system image which takes a full snapshot of *everything*. Use this one when your hard drive fails and you replace it: install the replacement drive, recover the image and go forth as if nothing happened.
