Sceduled Tasks 1.0

Hello everyone :hallo:

Although I am longtime WinPatrol PLUS user, I just found out yesterday on Avast forums about this support forum.

That said, I have a little problem with Sceduled Tasks 1.0 , that has no real-time detection available in WinPatrol PLUS 31.0.2014.0:31.0.2014.0 for me. I have no idea if it is a program bug, or if it was the same with previous versions, or if it is something that can be fixed.

Any advice would be appreciated :)

Real-time protection for Scheduled Tasks has never been implemented in WinPatrol... the best you can do is the 1-minute setting.

Hi, Rednose.  Welcome to LzD!

In addition, note the following from the WinPatrol Help File:

Most versions of Windows now support Scheduled Task 2.0 which is not as insecure as version 1.0. It also includes many actions besides running a program. At this time WinPatrol doesn't monitor version 2.0 tasks but still keeps track of the original Scheduled Tasks which is still supported by all Windows.
