Virus in Rarmaradio from Raimersoft

Rarmaradio from Raimersoft is usually a great free and clean program. Sadly the latest version comes with virus, - Trojan.win32.Inject.aabsl (found with Kaspersky Internet Security). Please wait with downloading the latest version if you make use of Rarmaradio from Raimersoft. Was it only Kaspersky... err... never mind. I was going say it could be a FP if only Kaspersky reported it was compromised but I just downloaded the latest version and Windows Defender immediately hit on it too. :( Not good.

I just tried to reach the site again and it keeps timing out on me. That's not good either. At this point it "appears" the program was hacked and maybe the site is under attack.  :(

No, Malwarebytes did also make some noise in me flaming ears as well. I'm very disapointed because usually it's a great piece of software. There is no access to Pandora for listeners located outside of the U.S., Australia and New Zealand anymore. Well, then there is Microsoft Groove  ;)

The software Rarmaradio from Raimersoft is now clean again, and there is no problems with downloading it.

I still would not feel comfortable using their products. The site copyright still says 2015. The offered programs say compatible with W7 on one page, then W7/W8 on another, but none say W10. And I don't see anything about the hacking and I like companies to be straightforward with me.

Spotify, which is out of Sweden, works in Denmark.

It's ok if you don't feel comfortable with it :) The only thing I can say, is that I have downloaded it to 2 pc's today- win 8/10, and had no problems with it this time. It is running perfect on both machines, without any noise from Kaspersky Internet Security or Malwarebytes.

Yes, Spotify is very popular here in Denmark and used alot. Personally I only use Rarmaradio, if I want to listen to some other radiostations around the world, instead of our own. Also I have a Microsoft Groove Music Pass so I can listen to all those albums I want, buy a song or album. It's a bit cheeper and easier. CD's and DVD's are dying here in Denmark :'(  :-X

Ok, I just had to be fair and tell that the software is running ok here again after some time. Anyway, do never download software you don't feel comfortable with!! It may cause a heck lot of repairing - and sleepless nights as well :o
