Toni Morrison, Nobel Prize laureate, and winner of other literature awards, writer of masterpieces such as "Beloved," "Song of Solomon," "Jazz" and "Sula," died yesterday at age 88.

Her work predominately went into the African American experience, in particular the women with her poetic yet piercing interpretations and style.

I love her work. What a loss. :'(

Social media was filled with the same sentiment as you posted, Pete.  She was a lovely lady.

I love it.  8)

A writer of Toni's stature--worldwide, by the way--this is the least that can and should be done in her honor and memory.
